Raspberry Pi 5 PCIE NVME SSD BASE BOARD

The Elecrow NVPI5-2280B is a PCIe NVMe SSD expansion base designed for the Raspberry Pi 5, enabling the use of high-speed M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 form factors. By connecting directly to the Raspberry Pi’s PCIe Gen 3 x1 interface, this board supports system boot from the NVMe SSD, providing a major performance upgrade over traditional microSD storage. It's an excellent solution for performance-intensive projects such as file servers, virtualization, or AI applications.

The expansion base is fully compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5 HAT ecosystem and supports the installation of official active coolers. It also includes an external +5V power input connector for additional power stability, especially when using higher-capacity SSDs. Dual LED indicators (power and activity) provide real-time device status at a glance.
